A vacuum-sealed chamber between two walls of 18/8 stainless steel eliminates heat transfer entirely. No condensation on the outside. No temperature loss on the inside. Whether it's ice water on a summer run or hot coffee at your desk, glug keeps it perfect for hours — not minutes.

02 — Lid System

Leak-proof CleanCap lid

Our CleanCap lid is engineered to a tolerance of 0.02mm — tight enough to survive being thrown in a bag, loose enough to open one-handed. The food-grade silicone gasket compresses under pressure and releases cleanly, with zero drip every time. Dishwasher safe, BPA-free, and designed to last the life of the bottle.

03 — Materials

18/8 medical-grade stainless steel

We use 18/8 food-grade stainless steel — the same grade used in surgical instruments. It's completely non-reactive, meaning it won't leach metals or impart taste into your drink, even with acidic beverages like coffee or citrus water. Scratch-resistant, dent-resistant, and built to outlast a decade of daily use.

Powder-coat finish that lasts

Our bottles are coated with a sweat-proof, chip-resistant powder finish baked on at 200°C. Unlike paint-over-lacquer finishes found on budget bottles, glug's coating bonds chemically to the steel — giving you a grip-friendly texture that keeps its colour after thousands of washes and years of daily use.
